Saving Money
Our incomes are divided into two categories: disposable and fixed. Our fixed incomes are expenses such as mortgage/rent payments, insurance, power and light, etc. We can only do so much cut expenses in that category. That leaves us to play around with our disposable income. Food, clothing, cable, telephone, household and personal care products are all categories where we can save some money. These are all things that we need or cannot do without, however we can save a lot of money if we explore the options!
We have to be willing to personally go into uncharted territory where our expenses are concerned. We have to be open to trying new things. You can always go back to the old way of doing things if the new way does not work out. However, if you give yourself time to adjust, most people find the new, money saving way or habit is just as good as the old spend thrift way. Habits die hard, so give yourself at least 2 to 3 weeks to adjust to your new habit or lifestyle.
In the pages that follow we will discuss many different options to save money. Please remember way all safety concerns for your household before trying anything new. In other words… use your head and don’t be unsafe.
